Delete your account
This page explains how to permanently delete your Convo account (app ID com.disruptlogic.convo) and the data associated with it. Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete from inside the app
- 1. Open Convo and go to the Settings tab.
- 2. Tap Delete Account.
- 3. Confirm. Your account and data are removed right away and you are signed out.
Using Convo as a guest? Guests have no account to delete — signing out removes the local data on that device.
No longer have the app?
Request deletion by email
Send us the email address on your Convo account and we will delete it for you. We reply to that address first to confirm the request is really coming from you — so use the address you signed in with. Requests are completed within 30 days.

Before you delete
- Cancel your subscription separately. Deleting your Convo account does not cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription — those are billed by the store, not by us. Cancel it in the Play Store or App Store first, or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.
- Marketplace creators: cash out first. If you have pending or available earnings, deletion is blocked until the balance is resolved. Cash out from the Dashboard, then delete.
- Credits are forfeited. Remaining credits, including purchased ones, are deleted with the account and are not refundable or transferable.
What gets deleted
- Your profile and sign-in identity (Google or Apple)
- Every companion you created, including custom ones
- Your conversation history
- Your credit balance and credit transaction history
- Your subscription records held by Convo
- Your marketplace purchases
- Voice and likeness samples you uploaded
What we keep, and why
A small amount of data outlives the account because the law or another person's safety requires it. None of it is used to re-identify you or to keep serving you.
- Marketplace payment records — payouts and refunds are retained with your user reference detached, for payment reconciliation and tax reporting (including 1099-NEC).
- Content reports you submitted— kept in anonymised form so moderation decisions about other people's content survive; your identity is removed from them.
- Companion Artifacts — derived avatars, synthetic voice profiles, and personality models produced by the Service are retained as described in Privacy Policy §8 and Terms of Use §5(c). The raw inputs you provided are still deleted.
- Encrypted database backups— deleted records roll off our provider's standard backup window rather than disappearing from backups the instant you delete.
How long it takes
Deleting in the app is immediate. Emailed requests are completed within 30 days of us confirming the request, as described in our Privacy Policy.
